The mission of the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Synagogue is to serve the religious and spiritual needs of the congregants in our community.
We strive to create an environment that is uplifting and welcoming, and at the same time lives up to the standards of Jewish observances and Jewish traditions. We believe that it is our sacred obligation to provide the opportunity for Jewish prayer and Jewish study, as well as to educate and to uplift.
We aspire to bring Jews into our midst, and to excite them about their heritage and to make Judaism a vital force in their lives today.
We believe that we have obligations to the community that extend beyond the religious agenda. We aim to keep the Jewish committee involved in solidarity with the State of Israel, with the Press Jury around the world, and to inspire Jews to live up to their obligations in these spheres.
We
believe that the youth today are the future of our community, and hope to continue
to engage them and all our congregants intellectually and socially.
If you have any comments or suggestions
to help us live up to this mandate, we would love to hear from you.
